Sweet earth, grounding your feet, letting your spirit soar.
Inspired by mandarin orange groves in Northern California followed by an uncontrollable flight of fancy into Ireland and time travel into the Medieval French countryside.
Traveling along a country road, adventure ahead, the way you want it to be.
Something about the sea, not quite sure what. Serentity? Adventure? All that beauty, all that power. It's just irresistable.
The moody California North Coast. Bright and sunny and then, just like that, bracing for the rolling fog.
Some freedom lost, but more was gained.
I'm told this place is the start of dreams really coming true.

Bonsai is a work of nature, refined by man. The elite corps of the plant world, understandablly proud and haughty of its beauty and intelligence.
It's a therapy. Going somewhere you've never been, or going back to a place you loved. A different environment than is usual. It just kind of shifts everything and you can get a whole new fresh look at life. Sometimes you can't get away....but you can always pretend!
Ancient Thira, a place of ancient mystery, never losing a light heart.

Some coffee, some meze (mmm...little bites), a glass of wine and a good book. Maybe a new friend. It's all there waiting for you on a Greek Island.

These paintings were pure fun. Not my usual style -- perhaps I should do more!
I painted "Oh Heavens" in admiration of Dominick Dunne. A character from one of his novels always used to say this. I wish he could have seen it.
